Nigerians React To Adamu Garba’s Withdrawal From Presidential Race

Nigerians have reacted to the withdrawal of a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba from the 2023 presidential race.

Naija News had earlier reported that Adamu announced that he will not be joining the contest for the APC presidential ticket at the party’s primary on May 30.

The controversial politician made the announcement in a thread on his Twitter account on Tuesday evening.

It was gathered that the withdrawal followed the donation of over N83 million by Nigerians for him to purchase the APC expression of interest and nomination forms which would cost N100 million.

The APC chieftain, however, urged his supporters and those seeking refunding to send email with evidence of payment.

However, some Nigerians have taken to social media to react to the withdrawal of the controversial politician from the presidential race.
