Kizz Daniel being a sensational act serves music lovers premium content.

The Nigerian star may not release music projects year-in, year-out, but when he does, he certainly releases hits.

“Son of Barnabas”, his most recent project remains unarguably one of the best projects we’ve had this year.

The music tabloid spoke on the recent TikTok trend which saw his new single “Pour Me Water” causing a frenzy on the media space.

Several endowed ladies picked up the challenge and decided to showcase their God-given talent.

THE PRAYER

First of all ‘introduction!!!’. Barnabas means “Son of encouragement”. So it’s clear why a Kizz Daniel will serve us an album with such content.

Kizz Daniel kicked off his song with a strong prayer; asking God to take over. He went a step further to say he is ready to “focus” on God.

“Dear Father in heaven, bout time to take over. E don tey I trouble you, back down o lucifer.”

Considering the hard times of the current APC government led by President Muhammadu Buhari, Kizz Daniel also kicked in a bit of Nigeria’s inflation problems.

Prices of goods in the market are on a rise and Naira’s value is basically going to shit!

“Eh God oh, no make I fall oh. This one wey things dey cost, I still want to ball, I still want to tanotano.”

Kizz Daniel left asides the fact that he is a star and spoke about the current heat everyone is facing.

Like it or not, the halves and the not-halves are not getting it easy in Nigeria.

CONCLUSION

“Barnabas” is basically a song and prayer for the teeming youths who continue to struggle in a country that has no plan for them.

A country where the government has failed its youths but they keep pressing on.

I hail our “lazy Nigerian youths” who never sleep, day and night, to make ends meet!

I hail our “lazy Nigerian youths” who marched the streets of Nigeria in the name of #EndSARS to demand for a better government, better living, and a better country.

Cheers and compliments of the season.
